Brand Identity / Package Design
Second label for My Favorite Neighbor —
a Booker Vineyards project.
Named after the winemaker’s parents, Harvey & Harriet is an homage to the beauty, intimacy, and unvarnished complexity of personal relationships. Dedicated to Eric Jensen’s mom and dad.
Further inspired by the inceptional bond between Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure and Eric at Booker, this wine speaks to the close cooperation and interdependence of the wine community in Paso Robles, California. The slacklining concept for the artwork was inspired by a couple spotted on the outcropping above Pirate’s Cove in Shell Beach, California.

>> Ha! Oo I never list numbers here but dang I gotta share this. Apparently Harvey & Harriet is the 4th most profitable “super-luxury wine” (that’s corporate-speak) in the retail market, in America today. This direct from the brand manager as of 5/16/25. Holy crap. What a trip! Wild.
Perhaps it was conceived as a potential global juggernaut by the winemaker, but my personal experience of it during its creation was much more… personal. Can’t help but wonder if the heart and soul that seeded its birth fueled its ascension. Didn’t hurt, anyway.
